Your session starts with a platica (heart-to-heart conversation) and setting an intention with your massage therapist. By understanding your intention for your session, I will incorporate elements of traditional, intuitive and scientific modalities that I am trained in to address your specific needs. All sessions meet you where you are at. A signature massage may include Neuromuscular Therapy, Energy/Intuitive Healing, Swedish, Myofascial Therapies, Shiatsu and/or Deep Tissue. This massage will be unique and tailored to you. Every session will begin and end with Kassandra opening/closing up the space in a sacred way. This session is meant to support you in finding a deeper sense of wellbeing & to clear new pathways to heal. Kassandra will offer tools for you to work with at home & will work together with you to feel a sense of embodiment & empowerment to support yourself.

Sessions may also include warm towels, aromatherapy, cbd balm, sacred smoke, sound/crystal healing, moxabustion, gua sha, flower healing, herbal sprays, pnf stretching and more. You may add on fire/vacuum cupping, herbal limpias or an oracle card pull, if desired. 

Neuromuscular therapy is a system of massage techniques that re-create neuromuscular health including trigger point therapy, myofascial release, PNF stretching, deep transverse friction, somatics, corrective actions and lymphatics. This trains the body into a new way of thinking. It uses a holistic approach towards healing, emphasizing and stimulating the body's natural ability to heal itself. In NMT, one of our key areas of focus is Myofascial Trigger Points. TrPs are microscopic spasms that form at the neuromuscular junction, where the nervous system communicates with a muscle. This massage style is supportive for you if there is anything that you believe in your daily life has been difficult for you to do to encourage your body back into healthy function.

Add-ons can be added to any session when time permits. Add-ons elevate your massage experience by combining massage with other healing modalities to bring you ultimate relaxation. There are a variety included in your session and a few to add-on.
